Your menu board is a web page, so many smart TVs can open it on their own, with no separate TV box. TV browsers vary a lot, though, so here is how the options compare.
Cleanest install
A commercial display, such as Samsung or LG signage models, that can open a web address when it starts. Set it to your menu board link and there is no box to add.
Works with care
Its built-in browser can show the board, but it may go to sleep, lose the page after a restart or a browser update, or show pop-ups — someone may need to reopen the page.
Lower cost · most control
The cheaper way: plug an Android / Google TV box or stick into the TV you have. It is one more piece of hardware, but it can start the board by itself, stay locked on it, and recover after a power cut.
